Ronny Raygun played it's first show at Auburn University in the fall of 1994. Yes 1994! The band has had the same original members since DAY ONE ! What other band do you know of that has had the same lineup for almost 20 years?

When we started the band there was only one other band that we had even heard of that dared to play all 80's music. There really weren't “80's tribute bands” back then. That was a time when cover bands were all trying to be angry, heavy, sad or "grunge". We loved Nirvana and Soundgarden, but girls at parties had a hard time dancing to that stuff.

We were kids playing in an original band trying to get a record deal and were looking for a way to make some extra cash and have some fun. We decided that instead of playing music from all decades, we would focus on the 1980's. Since then we have played consistantly throughout the Southeast and have earned a reputation for always bringing in an impressive sound and light show and throwing down hard! .
